JUNEAU — Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy delivered his annual State of the State address Thursday evening, outlining achievements from his administration and setting priorities for the year ahead before the 34th Alaska Legislature in Juneau.

Speaking to lawmakers and the public, Dunleavy projected a tone of optimism about the state’s direction, despite ongoing fiscal challenges and skepticism from some critics. He highlighted accomplishments in areas including public safety, economic growth, and infrastructure improvements.

The governor cited historic low crime rates, six consecutive years of job growth, a stabilized and growing population, and improvements in education outcomes and state credit ratings as evidence of progress under his leadership.
