알래스카 한인 골프협회(KGAA)가 주최한 2025년 하계 골프대회가 무스런 골프장(Moose Run Golf Course)에서 성
황리에 열렸다. 이번 대회에는 앵커리지 전역에서 모인 골프 애호가들이 참여해 화창한 날씨 속에서 우정 어린 경쟁을 펼쳤다.

대회는 A조, B조, C조, 시니어부, 여자부등 총 5개 부문으로 나뉘어 진행되었으며, 각 부문별 1등에게는 우승 트로피가
수여되었다.

골프와 커뮤니티가 어우러진 축제
KGAA는 이번 대회를 통해 단순한 경쟁을 넘어 한인 사회와 알래스카 지역사회
간의 유대 강화를 목표로 했다. 대회 당일, 많은 가족과 지인, 지역 주민들이 코스 주변에서 선수들을 응원하며 골프에
대한 열정과 공동체 정신을 나누는 하루를 보냈다.

앞으로를 향해
이번 대회의 성공은 KGAA가 알래스카 에서 건강하고 포용적인 골프 커뮤니티를 조성하기 위한 노력의 일환으로, 또
하나의 중요한 발걸음이 되었다. 대회관계자들은 향후 더 많은 이벤트를 준비할 계획이라며, 새로운 참가자들의 적극
적인 참여를 독려했다.

알래스카의 여름은 다양한 골프 대회로 가득하다. KGAA는 보통 여름에 또 한번 대회를 개최하며, 오는 7월 13일에
는 성 김대건 한인천주교회(St. Andrew Kim Parish) 주최로 또 하나의 골프대회 가 같은 장소인 무스런 골프장에서 열릴 예정이다.

The Korean Golfers Association of Alaska (KGAA) hosted a successful summer golf tournament at Moose
Run Golf Course on Sunday, June 29th, drawing golf enthusiasts from across the Anchorage area for a day of friendly yet competitive play. With clear weather and well-maintained fairways, the tournament featured five divisions—A, B, C, Senior, and Women’s—with first-place honors awarded to the top golfers in each category.

A Celebration of Golf and Community
Hosted by KGAA, the event aimed to promote not just competition, but also fellowship within the Korean and broader Alaskan community. Friends, families, and local supporters lined the course, cheering on the players and enjoying a day of beautiful weather and shared enthusiasm for the sport.

Looking Ahead
The success of this tournament marks another step forward for KGAA in building a strong and inclusive golf community in Alaska. Organizers expressed excitement about future events and encouraged newcomers to get involved.

The Alaskan Summer calls for golf enthusiasts to participate in multiple golf tournaments through the Summer. Typically KGAA hosted another on in the Summer and another tournament hosted by St. Andrew Kim Parish is set to take place on July 13th at Moose Run Golf Course.

With smiles all around and trophies in hand, the 2025 KGAA Summer Tournament at Moose Run concluded as a celebration of both skill and community—a memorable day for everyone
who took part.
