야외 활동 & 절경 명소

토니 놀즈 코스털 트레일 (Tony Knowles Coastal Trail)

총 11마일에 이르는 포장 트레일로, 자 전거, 조깅, 산책에 모두 적합합니다.

쿠크 인렛(Cook Inlet)과 추가치 산맥 (Chugach Mountains)의 숨 막히는 전경 을 감상할 수 있으며, 독수리나 무스를 발견할 기회도 있습니다.

추가치 주립공원 / 플랫탑 마운틴 (Chugach State Park / Flattop Mountain)

다운타운에서 차로 가까운 거리에 위치 한 이 트레일은 앵커리지에서 가장 많이 등반되는 산으로 알려져 있습니다. 정상 에서는 알래스카 산맥과 도시 전경을 한 눈에 내려다볼 수 있습니다.

포터 마시의 나무 데크 산책로를 따라 걸으며 철새, 무스, 독수리, 때로는 곰까 지 관찰할 수 있습니다.

From vibrant outdoor adventures and wildlife encounters to local festivals and scenic trails, this month is the last true taste of summer before the chill of autumn sets in. Whether you’re a local looking to savor the sunshine or a visitor eager to explore Alaska’s unique landscapes, August is the time to make the most of nature’s playground before the season fades.

Outdoor Adventures & Scenic Sites Tony Knowles Coastal Trail: This 11-mile paved trail is perfect for biking, jogging, or walking. It offers breathtaking Cook Inlet and Chugach Mountain views, with chances to spot eagles or moose.

Chugach State Park / Flattop Mountain: A short ride from downtown leads to Glen Alps and the start of the Flattop Mountain trail—Anchorage’s most climbed peak. Panoramic views include the Alaska Range and the city skyline.
