앵커리지의 대표적인 축제 3 바론 르네 상스 페어(3 Barons Renaissance Faire) 가 오는 6월 돌아온다. 2025년 6월 7-8 일, 6월 14-15일, 두 주말에 걸쳐 열리 는 이번 행사는 앵커리지의 토지어 트 랙(Tozier Track) 운동장을 중세 마을 힐 셔(Hillshire)로 탈바꿈시키며, 가족들에게 기사, 광대, 전설이 살아 숨 쉬는 특별한 체험을 제공할 예정이다.

살아 숨 쉬는 중세 마을

축제의 중심에는 레드, 그린, 블루라는 세 개의 화려한 바론(영주) 가문이 전설 속 힐텔스탄 더 볼드의 창을 두고 겨루 는 가상의 마을 힐셔가 있다.

화려한 의상을 입은 영주들이 펼치는 유 쾌한 연극, 검투 시합, 이야기 공연은 마 치 중세 영화 속 한 장면을 실제로 보는 듯한 생생함을 선사한다.

축제장에서는 박진감 넘치는 검투 시합, 재미있는 인형극, 유쾌한 해적 공연 등 다채로운 공연이 펼쳐진다. 아이들은 페 이스 페인팅, 활쏘기, 무용 공연 관람 등 을 즐길 수 있으며, 어른들은 **크루크 드 토드 선술집(Crooked Toad Tavern)** 에서 수제 맥주와 칠면조 다리를 맛보거 나, 40개 이상의 지역 수공예품 부스를 둘러볼 수 있다.

행사장은 휠체어 및 유모차 접근이 가능 하며, UAA 웨스트 주차장에서 무료 셔 틀버스가 운행된다. **가족 휴게 공간 (Family Rest Stop)**도 마련되어 있어 전 연령층이 편안하게 머무를 수 있다. 몇 시간만 방문해도 좋고, 하루 종일 즐기 기에도 알찬 구성이다.

Anchorage’s beloved 3 Barons Renaissance Faire returns this June, offering families a one-of-a-kind chance to journey into a world of knights, jesters, and village lore. Held over two weekends—June 7–8 and June 14–15, 2025—this whimsical event transforms Anchorage’s Tozier Track field into the medieval village of Hillshire, bringing history to life through immersive performances, food, and hands-on activities.

A Living Medieval Village

At the heart of the fair lies the fictional town of Hillshire, ruled by three colorful baronies—Red, Green, and Blue—who battle for the mythical Spear of Hillthelstan the Bold. Families will love watching the barons in full costume engage in comedic skits, sword fights, and storytelling that make the village feel like a real-life movie set.
