11월 21일(금) 오후 6시부터 22일(토) 오전 까지 앵커리지 열린문 교회에서는 젊은 청년들의 모임이 이루어 졌다. 이번 모임 은 교회 청년들을 위한 락인의 시간으로 1박 2일의 짧은 수련회의 자리였다.

15여명의 청년들이 금요일 밤 함께 모여 ‘주의 이름을 부르는 사람’ 이라는 주 제로 함께 찬양하고 예배하면서, 지식적 으로만 아는 신앙이 아닌 각자의 삶 속 에서 하나님을 만나 주의 이름을 부르는 살아 있는 신앙의 모습이 되고자 함께 결 단하였다.

예배를 끝마친 늦은 저녁의 시간에는 서 로 그룹을 나누어서 요리대회를 하고 준 비된 여러가지 게임들과 프로그램들을 통해서 젊은 청년들이 함께 기뻐하는 웃 음소리로 채워져 갔다.

늦은 시간까지 함께 이야기 하며 마음을 나눈 이 시간은, 함께함의 기쁨과 감사함 을 다시 한번 느끼게 하는 시간이었다.

이 시대 교회가 젊은이들의 쉼터가 되고 또한 꿈과 소망을 찾는 자리가 되길 원하 는 것이 열린문 교회의 꿈이고 소망임을 확인하는 시간이었다.

늦은 밤까지의 시간에도 불구하고 이른 새벽 6시 어른들과 함께 하는 새벽기도 의 자리를 통해 청년들만의 공동체가 아 닌 어른들과도 함께 하는 공동체로 함께 이어저 가는 예배와 기도의 시간으로 락 인의 시간은 마무리 되었다.

열린문교회는 앵커리지에 위치한 교회로 매주일 9:30/11시 예배가 있으며, 청년들 을 위한 모임은 매주 금요일 오후 6시에 이루어지고 있다.

11월 21일 (금) 오후 8시 – 10시: 요리대 회 및 식사/교제

11월 21일 (금) 오후 10시 – : 팀활동 및 교재의 시간

11월 22일 (토) 새벽 6시: 어른들과 함께 하는 새벽기도의 시간

From the evening of Friday, November 21, to the morning of Saturday, November 22, Anchorage Open Door Church held a gathering for young adults. This event was an overnight lock-in, offering a short but meaningful 1-night, 2-day retreat for the church’s young adult group.

About 15 young adults gathered on Friday night to worship and praise together under the theme “Those Who Call on the Name of the Lord.” They committed themselves not to a faith that remains only intellectual, but to a living faith—one where they encounter God personally in their own lives and truly call on His name.

After the worship service, the late evening continued with a cooking competition divided by groups, followed by various games and programs that filled the church with joyful laughter from the young adults

The time spent talking and sharing late into the night became a moment to once again feel the joy and gratitude of being together.

It was also a time to reaffirm Open Door Church’s hope that the church will become a place of rest for young people in this generation and a place where dreams and hope are found. Despite staying up late into the night, the lock-in concluded with early morning prayer at 6:00 AM, where the young adults joined the adults— symbolizing a community not only for young people, but a unified community of all generations through worship and prayer.

Open Door Church, located in Anchorage, holds services every Sunday at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. The young adult group meets every Friday at 6:00 PM.
