앵커리지, 알래스카 -2025년 10월 25 일

앵커리지의 챔프 태권도(Champ Martial Arts)가 켄터키 루이스빌에서 열린 HMA 세계태권도챔피언십 시범경연 부문에서 당당히 1위를 차지했다. 미국 전역의 최 강 팀들과 경쟁한 가운데 알래스카 대표 팀은 정확성, 파워, 그리고 완벽한 팀워 크를 선보이며 챔피언 타이틀과 함께 1 등 상금 3,000달러를 거머쥐었다.

챔프 태권도는 이번 우승을 기념하며 상 금 3,000달러 전액을 알래스카 지역 자 선단체에 기부해, 그동안 응원해준 지역 사회에 감사의 마음을 전할 예정이다.

유 사범(Master Yu)과 시범단 캡틴인 유 빅토리아(Victoria Yu)의 지도 아래, 총 22명의 팀원들은 8세부터 59세까지 다 양한 연령대의 수련생들로 구성되었으 며, 이번 대회를 위해 수개월간 훈련에 매진해왔다.

챔프 태권도 관장 유 사범은 “우리 수 련생들이 정말 자랑스럽습니다. 그들의 노력과 규율, 열정은 진정한 무도의 정 신을 보여주며, 세계 무대에서 알래스 카의 이름을 빛낼 수 있어 큰 영광입니 다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

시범단은 함께 응원해준 모든 수련생, 가족, 후원자들에게 깊은 감사 인사를 전하며, 그들의 격려가 이번 전국적 성 과를 이루는 데 큰 힘이 되었다고 강조 했다.

챔프 태권도는 앞으로도 앵커리지 전 연 령층을 대상으로 수준 높은 무도 교육 을 제공하며 지역사회와 함께 성장해 나 갈 계획이다.

Anchorage, Alaska – October 25, 2025

Champ Martial Arts of Anchorage proudly brought home 1st place in a demo competition at the HMA World Taekwondo Championship, held in Louisville, Kentucky. Competing against top martial arts schools from around the country, the Alaskan team impressed judges with their precision, power, and unity- earning the championship title and a $3,000 first-place prize.

In celebration of our 1st place win, Champ Martial Arts is proud to donate the $3,000 prize to local Alaska charities and give back to the community that has always supported us.

Led by Master Yu and Demo Team Captain Victoria Yu, the group represented Alaska with pride and excellence. The team included 22 students from Champ Martial Arts, ranging in age from 8 to 59 years old, all of whom dedicated months of training to prepare for this event.

“We’re incredibly proud of our students,” said Master Yu, Headmaster at Champ Martial Arts. “Their hard work, discipline, and passion represent the true spirit of martial arts, and it’s an honor to see Alaskans shine on the world stage. “

This team extended heartfelt thanks to all members, families, and supporters who cheered them on throughout their journey. Their encouragement helped make this national achievement possible.
