델라니 파크 스트립에서 열린 퍼레이드 및 낮 축제

퍼레이드는 오전 11시에 델라니 파크 스트립에서 시작되어, 화려한 장식 차량 과 음악, 다양한 지역 커뮤니티 그룹이 앵커리지 도심을 행진하며 관중들의 환 호를 받았습니다.

축제는 오전 10시에 시작되어 저녁까지 이어졌으며, 놀이기구, 게임, 푸드트럭, 수공예 및 파머스 마켓, 라이브 공연, 그 리고 21세 이상을 위한 맥주 가든 등이 마련돼 가족 단위 방문객에게 즐거움을 선사했습니다.

야구와 불꽃놀이

더블헤더 야구 경기는 앵커리지의 알래 스카 베이스볼 리그 전통에 따라 멀카히 스타디움에서 열렸습니다. 앵커리지 글 래이셔 파일럿과 앵커리지 벅스 팀이 각 각 오후 7시와 오후 10시에 경기를 펼 쳤으며, 한 경기당 최대 4,000명이 넘는 관중이 몰리기도 했습니다.

Anchorage buzzed with patriotic spirit Friday as residents and visitors gathered for the city’s annual Independence Day celebration. Here’s how the holiday unfolded:

Parade & Day Festival at Delaney Park Strip

Parade: Kicked off at 11 a.m. on Delaney Park Strip, featuring floats, music, and community groups marching through downtown Anchorage. Festival: Started at 10 a.m., continuing into the evening with carnival rides, games, food trucks, craft and farmers markets, live performances, and a beer garden for those over 21.

Baseball & Fireworks Doubleheader

Baseball: Anchorage’s Alaska Baseball League hosted its traditional 4th of July doubleheader at Mulcahy Stadium. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots and Anchorage Bucs played at 7 p.m. and again at 10 p.m., drawing crowds sometimes exceeding 4,000.

Fireworks: A fireworks display followed the second game, with midnight fireworks downtown marking the official Independence Day celebration.

Additional Celebrations & Related Events

Eagle River: On July 3, Eagle River Lions Park featured food, live music by the Glacier Blues Band, and a midnight fireworks show.

Nearby Communities:

Wasilla hosted a parade and a mayor’s picnic. Girdwood’s 50th Forest Fair ran Friday through Sunday and included art, crafts, and live music.
