ANCHORAGE, Alaska —The Western Region KCBMC (Korean Christian Business Men’s Connection) held an inaugural ceremony for its new Anchorage chapter on Aug. 20, 2026, at Cowork in downtown Anchorage. The event also marked the inauguration of Son Seok-geun (손석근) as chapter president.

The gathering began with a 5 p.m. worship service led by Elder Yoon Yo-han (윤요한). The service included hymns, prayer, scripture reading and a message delivered by Pastor Yoon Ho-yong (윤호용) of Grace and Peace Gospel Church. Kang Seung-tae (강승태), dean of the Western Region KCBMC Academy, also gave a special lecture titled “CBMC Vision and Mission.”

The formal inauguration ceremony began at 6 p.m. and included a report on the chapter’s formation, a declaration officially recognizing the Anchorage chapter, a scholarship presentation and the installation of the new chapter president. Western Region KCBMC President Oh Yoon-ho (오윤호) presented the appointment certificate and delivered words of encouragement.

The program also included congratulatory remarks from Hwang Sun-cheol (황선철), president of the Western Region KCBMC Federation, and Baek Jeom-sook (백점숙), president of the Korean American Community of Anchorage.

KCBMC describes its mission as connecting business and the marketplace to Christ by training Christian businesspeople and professionals to become spiritual leaders in their workplaces and communities. The organization emphasizes discipleship, leadership development and applying Christian principles in business and professional life.

The ceremony concluded with introductions of officers and members, a commemorative photo and a fellowship dinner.

앵커리지, 알래스카 — 미주서부 KCBMC(한인 기독실업인회)는 2026년 8월 20일 앵커리지 다운타운의 Cowork에서 앵커리지지회 창립식을 개최했다. 이날 행사에서는 손석근 지회장의 취임식도 함께 진행됐다.

행사는 오후 5시 윤요한 장로의 사회로 1부 예배가 시작됐다. 예배는 찬송, 기도, 성경 봉독에 이어 은혜와 평강 순복음교회 윤호용 목사의 말씀 선포로 진행됐다. 또한 미주서부 KCBMC 아카데미 강승태 학장이 CBMC 비전과 사명’을 주제로 특강을 진행했다.

오후 6시부터 열린 2부 창립식 및 취임식에서는 지회 창립 경과보고와 앵커리지지회 인준 선언, 장학금 전달식, 신임 지회장 취임 선포 및 임명장 수여 등이 이어졌다. 미주서부 총연합회 오윤호 총회장은 손석근 신임 지회장에게 임명장을 수여하고 격려사를 전했다.

이날 행사에는 미주서부 KCBMC 총연합회 황선철 총회장과 백점숙 알래스카 앵커리지 한인회장도 참석해 축사를 전하며 앵커리지지회의 새로운 출발을 축하했다.

KCBMC는 기독교인 사업가와 전문인들을 훈련하고 양육해 직장과 생활 현장에서 영적 리더로 세우는 것을 주요 사명으로 하고 있다. 또한 제자훈련과 리더십 개발, 성경적 경영 원리를 비즈니스와 전문 분야에 적용하는 것을 강조하고 있다.

행사는 임원 및 회원 소개, 기념촬영에 이어 참석자들이 함께하는 만찬과 친교의 시간으로 마무리됐다.
